NASHVILLE, Tenn.--FOX 17 News is tracking the potential for a Code Red warning this weekend in Middle Tennessee.
The latest models are providing increased confidence 2" to 4" of rain is possible between Friday evening and Sunday morning.
FOX 17 Chief Meteorologist Katy Morgan says urban and street flooding is possible as well. A few storms will be possible but at this time there doesn't appear to be a threat of severe weather.
Rainfall timing is from Friday at 3 p.m. through Sunday morning. High School Football games along and south of I-40 could be wet. The highest chances for soggy weather will be on Saturday.
